Raquel Beauchamp

Born and raised in San Juan, Puerto Rico, Raquel began her professional dance studies at the age of twelve in School for the Performing Arts; concentrating in classical ballet under María Carrera and Yolanda Muñóz, jazz, tap, hip-hop, musical theatre, character, contemporary, among others. She performed in various works across the island including Cabaret Le Freak, a musical that played tribute to iconic musicals such as CabaretChicago and Sweet Charity, and Cabaret Le Freak Coming Together. She moved to NYC in 2011 and continued to pursue dance, received ABT’s Project Plié NTC Scholarship for teaching underprivilaged kids ballet in Harlem Heights and is now and ABT Certified Teacher. She is also a corps de ballet member at American Liberty Ballet.
